ABOUT BENJAMIN P. SKORONSKI
Benjamin P. Skoronski (Ph.D., Cornell University—In Progress) is a musicologist studying the music-making and reception of women modernists and the ways in which their histories have been misrepresented. His research currently focuses largely on how women musicians brought European modernism to the United States, with an emphasis on the music of the Second Viennese School. Regularly engaged in conference activity in the United States and abroad, Skoronski is also currently in the process of having his first peer-reviewed article published.

“[Many musicians] are so busily engaged in gazing towards the past, that they walk into the future backwards.”
Marion Rous, c. 1920
